Meet Brittany Kempf, Occupational Therapist
Brittany joined Waypoint so she could continue to fulfill her passion in working with children to help them make life more meaningful.
Brittany attended Bellarmine University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts undergraduate degree in Exercise Science, minor in Psychology, in 2011. She then went on to expand her education and received her Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Spalding University, in 2015. It did not take long for her to realize the pediatric population was her passion. She has experience with working in the outpatient clinic setting and the school-based environment.
Her desire is to work closely with families to improve their child’s physical development, social and emotional development, cognition, and sensory processing, in order for them to live life to the fullest.
She finds joy in helping children be more independent in daily life activities, and helping them to perform to the best of their abilities. She has experience in providing therapy using various non-traditional modalities, such as hippotherapy and aquatic therapy.
Brittany lives in Louisville with her husband, sweet baby Landon, and friendly Goldendoodle named Louie. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her family and friends, trying new local restaurants, and being outdoors hiking, running, and exploring the sights.
