Meet Brandi Crawford, Interventionist
Brandi joined Waypoint after providing behavioral and educational support in private home settings, as well in private and public schools.
In high school, Brandi volunteered as a peer tutor in the classroom of an inspiring Exceptional Child Education teacher- an act that would clearly define and guide her future. It was through this experience that Brandi became a firm believer in the oft-quoted: “If a child isn’t learning the way we are teaching, then we need to teach the way that they learn.” The importance of individualized instruction has been a strong part of the foundation of Brandi’s career over the past twenty-plus years. Brandi has provided behavioral and educational support in private home settings, as well in private and public schools. She focuses on each individual student’s needs and learning style, and utilizes positive reinforcement and celebration of success to build confidence and foster a love of learning.
Brandi and her husband, Brian, have three children and have lived in Louisville since meeting as freshmen at Bellarmine University. Her idea of a perfect day is one that is spent outside in the warm sunshine with her family, preferably hiking or relaxing with a book by the ocean.
